The IDE for working
with many agents.

Run Claude Code and Codex side by side, let sessions talk to each other, and see what needs you, all in one window.

macOS 14 or later · Apple Silicon

Sessions

Every agent.
One list.

Each Claude Code or Codex session is one row: its state, what it is doing, and how much waits for you. The ones that need you turn amber, so they never hide.

Between sessions

Agents that work
together.

Sessions can message each other and type into each other’s terminals over a local bus. One agent can check another’s work. Every line shows who typed it, and you can read every exchange.

To check

Only what
needs you.

Decisions, questions and expired sign-ins collect in To check and stay there until they are resolved. You see what a decision will do before you make it.

IDE views

A full IDE,
when you want one.

Easel is built on Code - OSS. The editor, Source Control, Search and Open VSX extensions are one shortcut away, and one shortcut gone.

The real thing

Not a mockup.

This is Easel, captured from a build: four sessions on one project, a decision waiting, the files they changed, and what they said to each other.

A screenshot of Easel: the session list with tests waiting on a decision, a TypeScript file open in the editor, and the Overview with To check, Changes and Between sessions.

Made for agent work.

Your accounts

Sign in to each CLI yourself.

Claude Code and Codex run as the official CLIs, in their own terminals, signed in with your own account.

0

telemetry.

Nothing about your work leaves your Mac.

Built on

Code - OSS.

The editor and Source Control you already know.

Extensions

Open VSX, reviewed.

An allow-list runs; anything else waits for you.

Appearance

Dark and light.

Follows your Mac, terminal included.

Privacy and security

Your keys stay yours.

01

Easel never opens the CLI tools’ tokens. You sign in to each tool yourself.

02

Its own GitHub sign-in is kept in your macOS Keychain and is never passed to a session.

03

No telemetry. Logs stay on your Mac and never include message text, terminal content or tokens.

04

Extensions outside the allow-list run only after you review them.

Coming to iPhone

Decide from
your phone.

See what needs you and approve a decision with Face ID, away from your Mac. Easel for iPhone is planned.

Start with Easel.

Easel is in a private trial. Tell us what you would use it for, and we will write when it opens.

What would you use Easel for?

We keep your email, your answer and basic request data (IP address, browser) to run the waitlist, and use your email only to tell you about Easel. See the privacy policy.
